Project: Arnolds Creek Shade Structure

Arnolds Creek Shade Structure (Melton West, VIC)

Client: Fleetwood Urban

The ‘Reimagining Arnolds Creek’ project was a transformative five-kilometer creek line revitalisation, creating a contemporary space for the local community to enjoy.

  • Completion: October 2020
  • 10 tonnes of steel galvanised
  • Service: Galvanising, Loading and Delivery

Galserv supported the project with approximately 10 tonnes of hot-dip galvanised steelwork to which created fully-customised galvanised steel arbour which looked like a ‘skeleton’ emerging from the earth. The “skeleton” design featured 30 tall and long steel arches which each varied slightly in size and bend. Individually the pieces appear unremarkable, but their meticulous design variation across, and consistent finish, creating the ‘living form’ envisioned for the project.
